Watching this film made me so nostalgic about my childhood and how obsessive I would get about shows and even feelings. Growing up in the suburbs and the bleak but somehow colorful nature of doing the same thing every day was nailed so well I think. Mockumentary-type media is so important to me because I love how someone can decide they're going to try to capture realness. This is so interesting too because that's somewhat a goal of all media sometimes-- to capture the realness of something, the emotion of something, the concept of something. I love this type of style because when it's done well you get such reeeealll moments that genuinely make you feel connected to characters in a unique way!!
