  This was the most conflicting film. On one hand I was liek “this is literally just shots of the ceiling” BUT ON THE OTHER HAND I HAVE NEVER BEEN MORE MOVED BY A FUCKING MOVIE!!! 

  This brought me back to how it felt to be a child, completely helpless and afraid in the middle of the night. How still and quiet and timeless everything feels. Terrifying.

  This movie is so good man-
  it’s a feel good movie that is meant to make you comfortable with yourself. I live by the philosophy of the movie which is, “a real loser is someone who is so afraid of not winning he doesn’t even try. Did you try? (…) then you’re not a loser.”
  The characters all go through their own personal journey and grow as people, reaching their lowest points and getting pulled up by their family. It’s really beautiful.
