As a Pole/American, a massive Eisenberg and Culkin fan, and someone who has looked well into the history this movie explores….I get it.
Beautifully shot and paced, this piece is just fantastic at showing the way we get disconnected from our culture. And how much it can hurt finding our way back. It has poignant silences, frames/cuts with Anderson-like temperament, and a very frank feel.
