*Want to revisit this movie before I give it a full review*
Very strange but captivating. Felt like I was watching a stage play of someone’s dreams.
The humor is very different, and often very situational/physical, but when it landed I got a good chuckle.
Set design + cinematography were outstanding, especially alongside the costume design of the characters. The costume design made every scene feel like I was watching one “character” that was comprised of all the individuals.
Not an easy watch the first time around because there’s so much going on in every scene.

Fantastic direction and cinematography, especially during the opening chapter. The sterile green tint that was often present made me feel like I was in the killer’s surgery room.
Fantastic, clinical performance from Fassbender. He sold the character’s duality of the paranoid perfectionist.
All the dialogue and acting apart from the protagonist felt very flat, which is why I think the opening sequence was so strong, as it was just the killer slowly giving us exposition on the world he lives…
