Bong Joon Ho, I RESPECT you. But this film is not perfect as everyone thinks it is. While it does function flawlessly as a black comedy thriller (quite frankly, I've never felt this entertained and thrilled in years) with gorgeous cinematography and Pulp Fiction-level acting, I have some gripes in this film that made me bring this down from an easy 4.5-star rating. What the hell was Gadgetin doing here? His cameo literally came out of nowhere and felt so unnecessarily forced.

    ★★½

The title of this film is misleading — the whole theme about seeing people's colors are pretty much forgotten about after the first act. Even the song playing during the credits is unironically better at conveying the film's themes than the film's main theme song.

While I do can confirm that this film is feel-good, it's really underwhelming and more shallow than a children's swimming pool.
