I'm speechless. I'm sitting here trying to find the words to properly express how baffling I find this movie, and I'm at a complete loss. It's offensive, patronizing, and shallow while considering itself incredibly deep and meaningful. Above all, it's so fucking boring.
It's said that heretics and apostates are to be punished more severely than heathens. The messaging, values, and politics expressed by this movie are ostensibly close to my own, yet so cynically, lazily, and self-importantly done that it almost makes me want Trump to have a third term in order to punish those responsible for producing this garbage.
Fuck this movie.
