Genuinely my favorite part of this entire movie is a brief scene towards the middle where Robert Sean Leonard’s character tries to get Ethan Hawke’s to come out of his shell through a discussion in their dormitory, which then escalates into the two (along with the rest of their friends) laughing and chasing each other around the little room in a way that, to me, encapsulates the easygoing innocence of boyhood in a way that I have never seen before.…
