  I was not expecting american sniper to be such an emotional rollercoaster. Another movie that explores the psychology of people who kill for a living. It's half corny ass US military propaganda, and half true-to-life horror story of how war destroys people's lives. Chris Kyle was a deeply racist and mentally ill killing machine and the movie captured that perfectly. It's not a very "deep" movie, but clint eastwood is a surprisingly good director for a dude in his early 90's
