    "No, this is exactly what you're supposed to be doing."

    Perfectly-pitched comedy, it makes me really happy that this film made back its budget and then some, and I wish I could've seen it in theaters because it is built for an audience. Excellent chemistry, charming side characters, and some genuine heart too! I thought it was really wonderful how the film emphasized Alyssa and Dreux's community coming to their aid in the end, even the demonic loan sharks in their neighborhood. The direction is also surprisingly stylish and effective. Good movie.

    As I'm sure you've already heard, this is fucking excellent. Just like Knock at The Cabin, Shyamalan's camera just feels so effortless in how it moves around and frames the film, there's a distinct lack of showmanship that makes the visual craft feel really authentic and in-tune with the rest of the film.
