Was finally able to watched this in NYC's Film Forum, full theatre, lots of sniffling. Weirdly it was the corny Douyin songs that brought back so much memories of the lockdown when everyone was trying to make sense of the crisis, feeling both hyper-connected and utterly alone.

The first part of the film felt a lot like something Keystone would do. We saw chase scenes, people falling in buckets of water, falling down, etc. In the second half, we are introduced to a slight shift in storytelling.
