Vampyr 1932
A while ago, I watched a number of films from the thirties. None of which have thrilled my senses as much as Vampyr. The scenes are framed with great artistic measure, the music is mellow and accompanies the action with exact measure, and the events transpire without too much straying from the point. The same can be said of the dialogue and exposition texts which are succinct and flow without redundancy.
