I’m obsessed and fucking heartbroken I’ll never see this in cinemas, man. Definitely one of my favourite films of the year. “That combative energy”. Jeremy Saulnier’s direction is muscular and palpable as ever but, damn, he really wasn’t kidding when saying he strives to almost trigger an involuntary response in an audience.
