to preface, I've never read the books, so I can't comment on their relation to the movie or know if they had what I wanted from the movie.
it's an ok movie, with an insane budget probably. I wish it had been multiple movies so that more time could be put into each individual part and developing character and character relations. I'd say it's starts pretty well, but the farther it goes the more characters are reduced to 'cool character no.1' and to bland one-liners. I feel like they all had good potential that was just missed out on. fun movie to watch though.Translated from by -
