This review may contain spoilers. I can handle the truth.
I have no idea why it took me so long to watch this film. It deserves every flower that it got. A lot of this film was reminiscent of my own mother especially the two letters at the end of the movie and how the “poor” family was very optimistic and hopeful about a future where they were richer and could experience actual comfort. I love this movie so much and I wish I watched it when it released so…

I understand the hype to this now, it was so good and very fresh compared to other modern horror movies I watched. I was very squeamish to the gore shown (very common with me) but I had a great time regardless of the amount of squirming I did. I would recommend not eating with this one, I felt like vomiting by the end.
