  Its not for everyone for sure. Its purely for contemplation and introspection, it demands your attention, if not, what's the point? The poems were rather nice and fitted well within the events of Paterson daily life. I found their relationship particularly uninspiring. It lacked intimacy not the physical one, maybe complicity.   What a fine piece of wine... cough, cough... I meant film that is...
  Holds up tremendously well besides some very small set details and exaggerated sound fx but given its age its just a blessing.
  First 15m should be taught in every Film school.
  Whole plot is just perfect.
  My favorite Perfect Organism.

  Didn't re-watched this for more than 8 years... What a brilliant piece of art!
  Amazing soundtrack, Amazing script, Amazing plot, Amazing performance from the three. Compelling story, remotely resembling Natural Born Killers on its social eye opener for the viewer, us consumers.

  I can't understand how did this movie failed at its release with a rather low box office attendance.
