a slow-burn masterpiece where denial meets cinematography. the plot? a family living next to auschwitz, pretending nothing’s wrong. it's a film full of long takes, static shots, and symbolism (piles of shoes, pajamas, and a museum scene). emotionally distant characters, painfully slow pacing, and a vibe that makes you question your life choices. it's like history on display, but you're not allowed to feel it. existential dread, beautifully framed
