I Saw the TV Glow 2024
Absolutely gut wrenching. This is one of those movies that I just have to sit on the floor in silence and think about after watching.
The transgender allegory and the ending made me want to sob. It’s not a happy ending but it is what many people live through.
I think it is a very real experience to feel like a piece of media is more reality than what you’re currently living in. The “it is physically painful that I’m not Buffy the vampire slayer” factor that a lot of people, especially trans people, have felt. It describes that experience perfectly.

BEAUTIFUL! TERRIFYING! AMAZING!
That dog was a wonderful actor.The first time I watched this movie I didn’t fully think about the fact that the thing never shows its true form. It’s still a mystery and an incomprehensible critter because every time it starts to attack, it just shows an amalgamation of every animal it’s imitated before that.
This movie is an adaptation of at the mountains of madness in my heart.
