Going into this film for the first time I knew that it would be a genesis story for the Xenomorph, how this story unfolded was unexpected to me, for on it was a nice surprise to start the film on earth considering this is the earliest point in the timeline. Robert Pattinson really shows us a master class in his acting as both Micky 17 and 18.
the political comedy in the film is hilarious, and the design of the "creepers is so well done, they look dangerous and lovable at the same time!! The film was also surprisingly dark at times which was and unexpected welcome. Only things I didn't quite understand was the Drug storyline but that's just a nitpick, overall avery good story. 7 out of 10
Love the expansion of the world building from the first "Alien", the supporting army character where also really likable, particularly Hudson and Vasquez, and the introduction to the Xenomorph Queen was truly terrifying, but where this film truly shines is the mother-daughter relationship between Ripley and Newt, which is not something common in horror films, overall a worthy sequal to a legendary film.
