brain turned off its probably the best scifi of our generation. like all great movies in the genre however its attempts at cultural mirroring and criticisms fail quite obviously to anyone that is even slightly knowledgeable on the subject. ayan artans article seems fairly apt here and no herbert stan bs can change that sadly.
