The Brutalist 2024
Incredibly overrated. Longer review will follow, but for now I have to say that I have not seen a movie that is such aggressive Oscar bait in many years. There is almost nothing original or artistically interesting here...

Jessie Eisenberg proves that he doesn't need a script by Aaron Sorkin and a director like David Fincher. He can make a great movie (almost) on his own. What helps him greatly is that Kieran Culkin is at least equally as talented, giving perhaps the best performance of his career.
