    It’s corny, it’s silly, it’s Superman. 

    Reeve is such a delight as both Clark and Supes. He’s just the sweetest actor, but knows how to convey a lot of emotion when Superman has his own moments of crisis. 

    The movie gets some flak for its drawn out first act, but I actually enjoyed it. It’s got a very mythological feel to it. Kind of a “tales of Hercules” type vibe to it.

    Remains unratable BUT it’s just so terrific a film can be when you commit to your craft. It’s so genuine in its attempt to recreate the vibe of an era, it wraps around to it being almost off putting, but in a great way.

    Kind of like being embarrassed by an old haircut, we all do it, but we also genuinely loved it at the time.
