  Up there with Morning of the Earth as one of best classic surf films.  Greenough’s first-person shots are absolutely groundbreaking for the era and take on a proto-GoPro (try saying that 5 times fast) quality, despite being shot with a bulky 28-pound camera housing strapped to his shoulder.  The soundtrack is top notch as well, featuring a mix of instrumental rock jams and mellow folk tunes courtesy of the band Farm.  It’s a shame that they didn’t keep the original aspect ratio for the restoration but mostly I’m just grateful that a decent transfer of this exists.
