Other than Bela Lugosi’s performance (I wanted to applaud every time he hit the 🤨 pose) and the production design, this doesn’t really have much going for it. Not a very strong adaptation, and is a real victim of unnecessary theatrics in most of the performances.

Showing Up 2022
An intimate look at the personal struggles of being a creative, and making art surrounded by people whose art always seems better than yours. Especially your landlord-frenemy who spends all day at the studio living off your rent money. Loved the injured pigeon as an expression of the artistic process, and the cute little ending it brought.
