  Another indie, slice of life film. Nothing to write home about, but Kim Catrall was good. I liked her lines about how women are valued only for their looks. And also how so many men want a sexy, fierce woman only to immediately domesticate her. 

  I think there could be a really interesting commentary on the stigma of sex work juxtaposed with the demand & objectification of women and how that plays out for a woman over time.

  My favorite thing about this movie is it feels like a movie 😎. I understand why this is a classic. The score & cinematography are pretty cool. The best way I could describe this is “boy movie”. If you enjoy men demonstrating their masculinity by hanging out by themselves, being mean to each other and sitting on a boring boat planning and hoping to kill something, then you’ll enjoy this film.
