really loved the use of the atreides ‘anthem’ melody as the Paul/Chani love theme in this one - big hans has done it again on the score

Nails the aesthetic of the original Alien/Aliens; I particularly liked the glimpse into the grimness of the wider world under Weyland-Yutani. Where Prometheus/Covenant are flawed explorations of the higher themes/ideas behind the franchise this is a pitch-perfect sci-fi horror that doesn't seek to explore those 'higher' themes, for better or worse. I liked it a lot, and I found the characters vastly more sympathetic than the aforementioned Prometheus/Covenant. The last twenty minutes are creepy as fuck.
Weaker plot than the first, but much funnier. Daniel Craig looks like he's having so much fun.
Robbo did a very good job but he’s no Adam West.

Really liked this. Particularly a fan of the juxtaposition of Praetorian Jack and Dementus as two ways Max could've gone in the wasteland. I can only assume the people complaining about Furiosa's lack of dialogue have never watched a Mad Max film before.
