hot and steamy, but way, way more than empty-sexual. some of the online discourse positions this film as some kind of 'Fifty Shades of Grey', but that's just an insult to how layered this script is and how deeply meaningful the dialogues are. love how we get hints of the origins of main characters Romy and Samuel's psychosexuality, not explanations. no excusing, but certainly no judging underlaying voice. freeing to be honest!
