I usually don't cry in movies but for some reason this one made me seriously emotional several times. usually when action films try to push sad/relatable backgrounds or sympathy grabs it somehow makes it seem even less realistic and, in a way, tacky. i really didn't get that from this and really enjoyed it! even though there are some predictable cliches, it didn't ruin the movie. i was very pleasantly surprised 🥰
