  This movie was not at all what i expected for it to be. The writing is incomparable to anything i’ve seen. AND THE FORESHADOWING! The writers of this film really took their time. They wanted us to to be paralyzed while watching this. Did i watch this in one sitting? No. Did i understand all of it? No. Did i love it? Yes. Would i watch it again? Yes, but only if i watch it with someone else and it also depends on how much i love that person.

  Whiplash 2014

  I didnt understand at first why they called it whiplash until the final 20 mins of the movie. In the final scene with Andrew showing out on stage, the use of the whip pan camera movement definitely shows how his relationship with his constructor is being altered. 

  I saw the theme of “theres a thin line between love and hate.” This opinion may change when I watch this again but I saw that you can love something so much that you hate it. And not that you hate what that thing thing is, you hate how much you love it.
