    i get why this movie has the reputation that it does. the first two acts were some of the most effective horror i’ve seen in a minute. i felt like a kid again and needed to cover my eyes more than a few times. since i went in pretty blind, i honestly didn’t know where the film was going.

    but then the final act hit and it completely lost me. the torture was just too much for me to handle. i join the many people who’ll never be able to watch this film again and that’s okay
