Seeing the budget increase and Leone find his footing a bit more is wonderful to witness. And I understand that some may take issue with Eastwood’s cipher of a character, but his trademark reserved style makes the character so interesting and watchable.
God bless Saoirse Ronan for being literally perfect. I love this more and more each time and it’s because of her miracle of a performance. I’m beginning to think that she doesn’t have an Oscar yet because if they give her one they’ve got to give her all of them for every single performance she’s ever given, and it’d really be fair to make a higher level of awards for just her.
