This is a masterpiece which has maintained its relevance today, with the rot that sets into the ambition of world leaders. Also very cinematically impressive.
The flute player is ass though
“What’s worth anything in this corporeal dimension we’re forced to inhabit? Just some arbitrary value some higher power assigns to materialistic possessions.”
The line delivery that changed my perspective on what humans can achieve through acting. The academy lost all credibility in my eyes when this masterpiece of a performance was snubbed. A blatant attempt to discredit yet another flawless acting role taken on by Charles White, halting our evolution as a species. The character of Officer Greg will be forever ingrained into my psyche and my perception of reality.
