want a grisly horror full of eeriness and intrigue? this is not that film. this is a film so unhinged it is pure comedy from start to finish. adding a half star for the double dose of theo james.

the casting director really said actors with high cheekbones only, and i love them for it. i was here for the gothic motifs, weepy boy nicholas hoult, and yet another boneable vampiric skarsgård. alas, it seems women are still punished for having a libido in twenty-twenty-five, so half a star off for that.
