ngl.. im kind of disappointed. i can’t put my finger on exactly what, but it was missing a lot of what made fury road so good. it had a good story, and on its own it’s a good movie. although, since the two stories are tied so closely together i expected more. still good and i would say still worth the watch.
i do wish there were more practical effects. the reliance on cgi made moments feel too artificial. in a post-apocalyptic wasteland that is already extravagant, the practical effects go a long way in helping the viewer to feel immersed in this world.
