the hate for this campy little horror will never cease to amaze me (but i'm not surprised because general audiences suck) - it chewed and i actually cared about the protagonists for once

Scarface 1983
From the bottom of my heart, I do not understand why this film is considered a classic. It singlehandedly (almost) made me fall out of love with filmmaking. This film is what happens when the industry is too male dominated, both from the makers point of view and audience opinion. Only the simplest, violence-thirsty, ape brained viewers would actually enjoy this film.Β
This is a film I can say for a fact I despise with every fibre of my being.
