  This film had too many peaks and valleys

  It felt really heartless and underwhelming, as the creative choices/dramatic beats were just kind of thrown in there with little care. It really just glosses over the impact the Father had on his sons to the point that it was confusing and frustrating to see their responses to expectations. And in reality, those expectations were just so poorly underdeveloped that the emotional payoff didn’t hit for me.
