I've always been a little trepedatious entering into the world of David Lynch. Everybody talks at length about the dreamlike quality his films and I guess I found that a little intimidating?
I wasn't anticipating loving Blue Velvet like I did. The only analogue I can draw is Eyes Wide Shut, another film in which an innocent man enters a world of darkness and perversion that draws constant parallels to the normality the protagonist hails from.
