Just couldn’t resist not looking up ‘Memento explained’ videos on youtube after watching it. I get the whole interpretation thing but I just can’t help it sometimes. I don’t wanna have my own view, I just wanna know exactly what the writers and director think.

Megalopolis 2024
I just don’t know what to say about this. Part of me wants to say I enjoyed it, while another part of me says im lying. The crazy thing is, it feels like a collective group think experiment where we all say we didn’t like it, yet we sat through the whole 2 and a half hours of it. It felt a little bit pretentious, but the themes were obviously a reflection of the current political and social climate so maybe not too pretentious. I probably won’t watch it again though.
