    Okay, but for real though, hear me out...

    This film isn't great, but I do feel like it warrants a critical re-evaluation.

    The concept itself is darkly cathartic and a great premise for a comedic conflict: Farley, a self help author, is forced to confront his demons when his mother and past abuser, Mr. Woodcock, become engaged.
