  i watched with my soulmate :3 honestly im glad i rewatched it because it gave me different critical lens about the whole story and the small choices made by the filmmakers that elevated the entire film for it. the white savior bit at the end is a bit weird tho thats not my favorite

  i loved it, the way we see chiron’s growing in age, the qualities in the people around him that stuck with him throughout his life. so moonboy so blue so babygirl it all captures the unknowingness of childhood and the adult it molds you into.

  i watched past lived with my soulmate :3 its quiet, well composed, and greatly color coded!! i personally am a big fan of a more visual movie, so a very talky talky movie like this isn’t quite up my alley but i still loved it.
  nonetheless, regarding the plot of the movie, i loved that it was more complex than a simple love story! its called past lives and not past loves for a reason shet…
