Infinity Pool 2023
A return of an abstract style to mainstream cinema.
Some point in the film, narrative takes a back seat and the filmmaker evokes feeling with bold colours and eerie dream sequences, mirroring the unsettling themes of the film through the perspective of the main character and his growing sickness.
The setting and performances successfully create a hopeless and cold atmosphere akin to The Shining (1980)

Pride & Prejudice 2005
Well structured film, not boring even if it is slightly long. Great understanding of characters by the screenwriter/director/actors.
The details in the set and the performances were top notch, taking me back to another time. Feel good drama film but does not feel empty and forced.
