How to Have Sex 2023
I can appreciate the themes, and what I think the director was trying to accomplish by having such an immersive trip experience of repeatedly going out over and over and over and over again….but where is the commentary? Rape is bad? No shit. What is the story here? What is the conversation? What does the audience take away other than watching 1.5 hours that feels like a memory for most women? Maybe it’s the on screen validation of a shared experience, but for me that wasn’t enough
