An absurd, surrealistic exploitation film that shockingly works at times, usually when it fully leans into its own absurdity.
I just do NOT care for the look/feel of B-movies at all - take May/December with you and go be poor somewhere else 💅

A generic title befitting a generic movie…
I came into this movie with a sort of hopeful doubt, but I should have known better! I’ve not really cared much for any of his previous films, but I read some (of your!) reviews, and thought maybe this one might be different. This movie, like others of his I’ve seen, just feels so lacking in substance; all bark but no bite.
Garland, in typical fashion, makes frequent use of convenient “plot vehicles”…

I had the absolute privilege of watching the Alien 45th Anniversary Re-Release with my girlfriend in an otherwise COMPLETELY EMPTY THEATER and it had the same vibe as watching the Golden State Warriors in 2017 and 2018; God-mode.
