The idea of having someone protect you and shield you from pain and torment from mean people is what i wanted growing up, im glad she got that. Ending was heartfelt but still a punch in the gut multiple times over, kicked me while i was down. just sadness and trauma and sadness over and over again. good movie hella sad tho
