Waited a while to see this, and I wasn't (fully) disappointed. I quote liked the movie as itself for the most part, but I believe it wrapped up rather quickly and could've had room for more content. Bit short run time for something that probably should've been longer. Disregarding the run time, the affects and scares aren't cheap and make you feel genuine anxiety. Overall great movie

Reds 1981
This is my favorite film of all time, I recently rewatched Reds and I felt the need to express my love for this film. It's representation of John Reed as a journalist and Revolutionary, and also the Bolshevik Revolution are superb, detailed sets and amazing acting from everyone involved in this film. It's a great addition that they bring real witnesses who interacted John Reed and his wife. It is an epic of both adventure revolt and love, while maintaining historical accuracy. An absolute classic for anyone who loves politics and history. 11/10, makes me want to join the revolution

Purgatory 1998
Makes saving private Ryan look like a Disney movie. The film depicts the clashes between Russian special forces units and Chechen mercenaries in the first battle of Grozny. The movie is not perfectly historically accurate and has some questionable tactics used by characters. The film was written by a Chechen war veteran, who used a lot of what he saw and experienced and cranked it up a notch. Not for the weak stomach when scenes of torture and beheading happen. Worth a watch if you are interested in this historical event
