I mean... It's not terrible. And NGL, I do love me some claustrophobic thriller situations, but... the pacing felt kind of weird. It's kind of a slow-burn, I guess, but with a little more of the former. And I'll admit I kind of fast forwarded a few times.

Also Zach Tinker is really good in this. Once he came onto the scene, he kept me hooked long enough to finish the movie. Plus that man drives me insane in the best of ways.

I mean, I should have known what I was getting into. But I was hoping to score a few laughs, which yeah, I might have had.

But the more I watched, the more mortified I became at how far these parents went while tracking their daughters down all stealthmode.

Regardless, with a premise like that, it's bound to be raunchy and gross. I was hoping I would've had more fun with it. Especially since I liked the cast well enough, but the writing + delivery didn't work for me.

Also Miles Robbins' character did nothing wrong- compliments to the Chef, because he did deliver.

anyways, being someone who hasn't watched any media or read any books on the character, i did enjoy this for what it was. i probably only saw this because andrew scott is an amazing actor, can watch him in anything.

interesting choice in keeping it fully b&w, i half expected it to use color for some objects/scenes but nah. and it kind of impressed and had me gasping to see the finer details…

I'm almost kind of irritated with myself for enjoying a portion of this the way I did (I'm specifically referring to the alternate cut of this movie btw, not the theatrical one. Otherwise I'd probably knock a star or two off)

Is this some incredible, groundbreaking film, or even delivered in a way that stands out in a meaningful way? I mean no, it's incredibly predictable. It's even questionable, and dare I say, is it intentional that I'd forgotten about…
