it’s really a shame chris pine’s voice was wasted on this movie. i’m trying to understand why we are supposed to care about the character as well as understand the villain’s motives, but none of that was explained in the movie at all. disney has been falling short with writing and unfortunately this movie is one of those. singing and animation is always beautiful but does not carry the film. who knows when disney will realize that.
