  Almost 8 years since I first watched this film, and I absolutely didn’t remember it being such a melancholic tearjerker. I guess different times in life hit differently.

  Definitely one of my favorite discoveries of this year—romantic, visually imaginative, not afraid to be silly from time to time, while perfectly steady in painting its own world with its few wacky rules that end up making it even more special.
  Until today, I had no idea who Anthony Edwards was, to be honest, but everything he did here was truly memorable and incredibly convincing.
  A supreme soundtrack from Tangerine Dream and a perfect, emotionally fulfilling ending.
