Even though it’s surprising to see such a bold interpretation of the gay leather scene starring Al Pacino in an '80s movie, I left the film feeling indifferent about it. I don’t clearly understand whether the editing was meant to contribute to the narrative or if it was simply following a trend of the time. Either way, it was kind of annoying.

Una película muy autoconsciente. El protagonista clever muy clever, el mafioso muy mafioso (ruso, oh), la sidekick muy sidekick, el malo muy malo, los puntos de giro muy sobremarcados, la fotografía muy explícita. Si había tensión sexual, había saxo. Si había suspenso, había musiquita. Los cortes, super duros. En fin, una película muy película jajajjaja
