  I absolutely hated how this movie handled its violence. The director wants you to be ashamed for craving some form of catharsis with its character and that's bullshit. When the violence is on screen, it's very poorly choreographed and staged. I get how there could be merits to this approach, at least thematically, but it makes for a painfully frustrating and dull experience.
