Movies like this are what makes writing these pointless reviews difficult. I love horror movies as this way super fun. so how do I rate it? a horror movie is never going to be as objectively good as a Hitchcock or Tarkovsky movie but I enjoy watching them more. so idk if that means it's a higher rating or what. I love movies like this. Super super funny. So quotable and characters are really loveable even tho Walter is a prick. Not super often you watch a movie and feel apart of the world straight away and want to be like the character.
Cast is insane as well. Some of my favs in there; my all time fav Phillip Seymour Hoffman, Julianne Moore, Steve buschemi. Huge cast and so many that guys.
I’ve given it a 4 because I do feel like it drags and gets a little convoluted but that’s really it. Would recommend
Not my favourite. Kinda liked the idea but it just didn’t hit for me. The big scenes and runs were interesting but I think the underdone effects kinda took me out of it. It’s a fine movie like I didn’t hate it but probs a one and done watch for me
Not usually my type of movie but idk maybe certain life events make movies more appealing at different times; and this is some of the best at eliciting emotion. Thought the dialogue was written beautiful, and partnered with the performances, made the movie feel grounded and real despite the multiple subplots. I feel like it makes you feel young and makes you want to feel like you want to do something crazy or take a leap
